As the group’s first purpose-built hospital, KPJ APSH was meticulously designed by international architects to bring quality healthcare closer to communities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
Built on 5.35 acres of land with a total build-up area of 330,000 square feet, construction began in November 1993 and the facility was handed to KPJHB management in March 1995. The hospital opened its doors to the public on June 15, 1995, and was officially launched on March 30, 1996.
